HATTIE AUSTIN

Based in London, Hattie is a photographer with over five years’ experience working within the horseracing industry. Much of her early career was spent on racecourses, capturing horses, jockeys and the people behind the sport, with a focus on producing imagery that feels considered, authentic and distinctive.

For the past few years, Hattie has balanced her photography alongside a full-time role in marketing at Great British Racing, developing a strong understanding of brand, audience and storytelling. As of February 2026, she has moved into a new full-time position at a London-based sports marketing agency, while continuing to take on photography work at weekends and when possible.

Her passion for the fashion and social side of horseracing, particularly at Royal Ascot, led her to expand into event led photography. She is now an experienced wedding and event photographer, offering a versatile and editorial approach tailored to each client.

Hattie’s work has been featured in national publications including The Telegraph and The Times, as well as Tatler, The Field and Country Life and more. She also works closely with racing imagery archive Focus On Racing, supplying imagery across the industry to the likes of BHA, ITV Racing, Racing TV, The Irish Field and more.

With a background rooted in sport, events and people focused storytelling, Hattie brings a calm, professional approach to every shoot, with an emphasis on capturing genuine moments with clarity and style.
